On July 10, CHCH released an article and segment announcing that NC has broken ground on a new campus greenhouse to expand its research into the growing industry across the province.
Associate Dean of Niagara College’s School of Environment and Horticulture, Evan DiValentino is quoted in the article: “The new greenhouse facility will provide our students with greater access to greenhouse technologies and plant science innovations, paid research opportunities, engaging course-based projects, and valuable interactions with employers.”
Horticulture Technician student, Ashley Paling is interviewed in the segment, discussing the benefits of the practical education gained from learning and applying her knowledge in NC’s greenhouse.
