On June 16, InNiagara released an article about Welland’s first ever brewpub, the Atlas Hotel.
The article highlights that Professor in NC’s Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program, Jon Downing, was at the helm of the new brewpub. It also notes that in 2016, the NC Teaching Brewery recreated the brewpub’s signature beverage, the CAS XXX, a beer ahead of its time with its liberal use of Cascade hops.
