NC Libraries and Learning Commons to switch Library System and Catalogue provider on May 3

Starting on May 3, NC Libraries and Learning Commons is switching its Library System and Catalogue from ‘Evergreen’ and ‘Summon’ to ‘Alma’ and ‘Page 1+’.

What this means for users

By switching to Alma and Page 1+, NC Libraries and Learning Commons is joining a consortium with 19 other colleges in Ontario. Library support staff from across the province will share in the operation and maintenance of this single, universal system, improving the efficiency of library services and the research process for students and faculty.

Please note, users will be unable to access the NC Libraries and Learning Commons’ online catalogue from April 27 to May 2.
Items can still be borrowed during this time.

Staff and students are encouraged to reach out to Library staff after May 3rd if they require research assistance using Page 1+. Search and Subject guides will be updated on the NC Libraries and Learning Commons website to reflect the changes, but users are encouraged to contact the Library directly with any questions.
