Message from Dr. Marc Nantel, Vice-President, Research, Innovation & Strategic Enterprises:

I am very pleased to announce that Mabel Watt, a seasoned government relations and policy professional, will join Niagara College as Director, Government Relations.

Mabel comes to Niagara College from Halton Region, where she has spent 16 years in progressive positions, most recently as Manager, Strategic Policy and Government Relations. She brings experience at all three levels of government, having worked for the governments of Ontario and Canada prior to joining Halton Region.

We are very excited to welcome Mabel to the Niagara College team, and her broad experience at all levels of government will allow her to hit the ground running. She will greatly enhance our government relations strategy and help implement it to support the best possible advocacy on issues of interest to our college and its students.

Mabel begins her new role on Monday, February 27. Please join me in extending her a warm Niagara College welcome.
