Message from Brian Hughes, Interim Director, Facilities Management Services:
I am pleased to introduce a new member of the FMS – Ancillary team. This week, Stevie Thornton joined us in the role of Facilities and Events Assistant in Ancillary Services, providing event planning services to the College community and the public.
Stevie is a Niagara College graduate with an advanced diploma in Business Administration – Marketing. She also holds a B.A. in Business Communications from Brock University. Stevie brings 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, where she focused on building positive client relationships and providing exceptional customer service. At her previous employer, Hilton Hotel & Suites in Niagara Falls, Stevie rose through the ranks from Reservations Supervisor to Convention Services Coordinator and finally Group Sales Coordinator.
The skills and experience that Stevie brings with her will ensure that she is a valued member of the College’s event planning team.
