Update: Campus access process for employees

To ensure compliance with the access protocols at the Welland and Daniel J. Patterson campuses, tap-in stations will be reverting to a single tap-in point for students and employees for the remainder of the term. The process of removing the separate employee tap-in stations will begin today, and will be in full-effect by Monday, November 29.

A reminder that all employees accessing campus are required to complete the daily online screening tool before coming to campus, and tap in with an employee ID card every time you come to campus. You are not required to tap out when leaving campus. While traffic at the access points typically moves quickly, there may be short delays during peak times – be sure to allow enough time to follow the access protocol, and please have your staff ID card readily available.

Access controls are an important part of the measures that have been implemented to protect the safety of our students and employees. Along with physical distancing, masking and our vaccination policy, these measures continue to prevent the spread of COVID-19 on campus. We all share a responsibility for the ongoing safety of our learning environment and workplace – please follow all COVID guidelines on our campuses.
