On September 20, Education News Canada shared Niagara College’s release announcing a $1.75 million renewal grant from the federal government supporting the NC Research & Innovation division’s CFWI Innovation Centre.
The Technology Access Centre (TAC) funding, awarded through the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada’s College and Community Innovation (CCI) program, will further advance food and beverage innovation excellence at the CFWI Innovation Centre. The Centre, which operates as a TAC, provides state-of-the-art services to local companies – particularly small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) – with a team of experts in food and beverage science and safety who work alongside students to offer SMEs innovative solutions from concept to shelf.
