On January 31, NC’s associate director, Athletics and Recreation, Michele O’Keefe was a guest on Rod Mawhood’s Niagara Sports Report on Newstalk 610 CKTB.
During the interview, O’Keefe reflected on “these covid times” and highlighted how impressed she is to see NC’s Knights athletes finding their way through the current situation with strength and resiliency as college sports continue to be on hold. She notes that she is looking forward to the day that sports can resume to see the student-athletes flourish.
Mawhood also congratulates O’Keefe on two recent successes – being appointed chair of SPORT4ONTARIO’s Board of Directors and receiving the 2020 Executive Award of Merit from the Canadian Basketball Official’s Commission. O’Keefe goes on to explain her connection and work with both organizations.
