As we continue to closely monitor COVID-19, and adapt our processes based on the evolution of the pandemic and associated measures, directives and science, we have updated the COVID Safe Return to Campus Orientation video for managers and employees.
Given the importance of the updates, and to ensure that any employees on campus have the information required to work safely, completion of the new version will be required for all employees – including those who have completed the previous version. Those completing the orientation for the first time will see the updated version, and as per the existing access protocol it must be completed via the MyNC portal before access will be allowed.
Those who completed the previous version will have until January 18 to complete the updated orientation. At that time if you submit an on-campus request or come to campus but haven’t completed the updated COVID Safe Return to Campus Orientation video, your access to campus will not be approved until you have done so – even if your on-campus request was previously approved.
As with the original orientation video, the updated version must be completed via the MyNC portal, using the following steps:
- Go to: portalnc.niagaracollege.ca/MyApplications
- Click ‘Employee Training Modules’
- Choose either the COVID-19 Employee Safe Return to Niagara College Orientation or the COVID-19 Manager Safe Return Orientation.
If you require the orientation in an alternative format, please notify your supervisor.
We have also updated the student version of the COVID Safe Return Orientation, and all new and returning students will be required to complete the updated version.
