NC’s vice president, academic Fiona Allan was interviewed on September 2 by Tim Denis from Newstalk 610 CKTB about the 2020 Fall term.
Allan discusses how the upcoming academic term will be very different from previous terms with 80 percent of classes being delivered online and 20 percent with elements on campus. She mentions how NC has worked with its health and safety teams and public health through the summer to ensure the College has protocols in place so that on-campus elements can be done safely and with controlled access. During the summer NC welcomed approximately 300 students from the nursing, dental and technology programs back to campus to complete their hands-on program elements, which Allan notes was an opportunity to test and refine new health and safety measures.
