Esthetics student Christina Ventresca (pictured above) is getting excited about Skills Ontario.
“It’s very exciting but I am a bit nervous,” remarked Ventresca. The Skills Ontario competition features students from across a variety of trades including esthetics. Four a staff members including Lisa Maurice, Susan Paone, Tina Green and Lorraine Macdonald have spent time mentoring and coaching Ventresca and on occasion associate dean Jeff Stewart (pictured) has also been coerced on occasion as a practice model.
“I am really excited about all the skills I’ve been able to refine through this process. After I graduate I would love to return to the college to help mentor future students towards gold in Skills too,” says Ventresca.
