Misheck Mwaba will become Niagara College’s dean of Media and Technology in August.
A message from vice-president Academic Steve Hudson:
I am pleased to announce that Misheck Mwaba, PhD, will be joining us as the dean of Media and Technology, effective August 12, 2013.
Misheck comes to us from Algonquin College, where he is currently chair, Mechanical and Transportation Technology Department. He has previous academic experience as a professor and later head in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Zambia. He has also taught part time at Carleton, University of Ottawa and Algonquin College.
Misheck has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands and was a Research Fellow at Carleton University, after which he worked as a mechanical engineer at Atomic Energy of Canada Limited.
