Niagara College Campuses are open on Tuesday, November 12, and all classes and activities are running as scheduled.
Students, staff and visitors should use extra caution when travelling to and around College campuses, and allow extra time to park. College contractors have been working throughout the night to clear roadways, parking lots and pathways of snow at both campuses. Please stay clear of operating equipment while snow-clearing work continues Tuesday. Walk carefully on snow- or ice-covered surfaces, especially slopes or stairs, and wear appropriate footwear.
Due to significant snowfall, highways and roads may still be slippery in spots. Please give yourself extra time to travel to and from campus, and check local traffic conditions for any road closures. Travelers to both campuses should note that as of Tuesday morning, the Highway 58 Thorold tunnel is closed, which could lead to heavy traffic conditions in the area.
