On June 13, CKTB shared the news of nearly two million dollars in funding for NC’s Technology Access Centre, announced by the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, the Minister of Science and Sport, in support of advanced manufacturing innovation, and the cannabis production research unit.
In the NSERC announcement, Duncan declared $1.75-million renewal of Technology Access Centre funding for NC’s Walker Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre, and $149,918 in funding for equipment to support a cannabis production research unit for the Agriculture and Environmental Technologies Innovation Centre.
