Snowfall Warning issued for North Niagara Feb. 27

UPDATE: Niagara College campuses remain open for the afternoon and evening of February 27. All activities are running normally as scheduled.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for North Niagara for Wednesday, February 27. Snowfall of 15-20 cm is expected throughout the day and into the evening. A special weather statement, calling for 10-15 cm, is in effect for South Niagara.

Niagara College campuses remain open and all classes and activities are running normally. The college will continue to monitor this weather event, and any updates will be posted to the college’s website and social media accounts.

Use extra caution when travelling to and from campus, as road conditions may deteriorate throughout the day. Walk carefully on snow-covered surfaces, especially slopes or stairs, and wear appropriate footwear.
