Please note that portions of Niagara College Blvd at the Welland Campus will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic on Tuesday, February 26 and Friday, March 1, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day to accommodate a scheduled rooftop replacement.
The work will require a large crane to located near the main Athletics Centre entrance on Niagara College Blvd. Buses and traffic will be redirected through Parking Lot A and drop-offs and pickups will be permitted within the parking area from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lot A will remain open for paid visitor parking, however a small section will be blocked off to create a temporary pickup/drop-off point for buses and vehicle traffic. The main Athletic Centre entrance will be closed during this time, however the north entrance to the Athletic Centre will remain open.
The Eva M. Lewis Library and Learning Commons, as well as the north end of the Merrit building, will be closed while the crane is in operation, from 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on both Tuesday and Friday. Campus Safety and FMS staff will ensure staff and students have vacated the area before work begins.
