A message from Marc Nantel, associate vice president, Research & Innovation:

It is my pleasure to announce to you a few changes on the Research & Innovation management team that will help us strategically navigate the tremendous growth we have seen in our division in recent years.

Carolyn Mullin, manager, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships

Carolyn Mullin is now the manager, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships. This will better reflect Carolyn’s role beyond the ever-important dissemination and outreach aspects and into the development and management of external partnerships and networks for the division. Carolyn has been with Research & Innovation since 2012, starting as a dissemination and outreach officer and taking on increasing responsibility over the years, first in managing the Dissemination and Outreach team, but also taking on aspects of business development for the ever-growing division.

Krystle Grimaldi, associate director, Research & Innovation

Krystle Grimaldi is now the associate director, Research & Innovation. This is a recognition of the increased role Krystle has had in managing the division’s operations, budgets and most personnel; she is a principal reason that the division is a perennial model of efficiency and achievement. Krystle started at Research & Innovation in 2010 as a part-time project manager with a variety of portfolios, and grew into a permanent research project manager role before being most recently the manager, Projects & Operations.

Please join me in congratulating Carolyn and Krystle on their new appointments. We are grateful for their support with these changes and as we work to grow the Research & Innovation division.
