Some of Niagara’s best sips and bites are ready to take centre stage.

On October 16 and 7 the NC Craft Beverage Centre will transform into a lively community hub as the host venue for the first-ever Cheers Niagara Festival.

Organized by the Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce, the two-day event spotlights the region’s thriving craft beverage and food scene. Attendees can explore a vibrant mix of local wineries, breweries, cideries, and distilleries, alongside food vendors, artisan goods, live entertainment, and seasonal activities.

“Cheers Niagara is an exciting opportunity to celebrate Niagara’s vibrant craft beverage industry, showcase local producers, and bring together businesses and the community in support of our region’s growing food, beverage and tourism sectors,” said Terry Dow, Executive Director, Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce. ”

Dow noted that NC was hand-picked for the inaugural event.

“The NC Teaching Winery/ Craft Beverage Centre represents the innovation, expertise and collaboration that make Niagara such a special place to live, work and visit,” said Dow. “The College plays an important role in developing talent and supporting the next generation of beverage industry professionals, making it a natural fit for an event celebrating Niagara’s craft beverage community.”

Amanda Baldinelli, Hospitality Manager, NCLEC, said they are proud to be involved in the inaugural Cheers Niagara Festival as both a main sponsor and host venue.

“It’s a great opportunity to showcase NC Craft, connect with our local community, and celebrate the incredible food and beverage producers that make Niagara such a unique destination,” said Baldinelli. “We’re excited to welcome visitors to the Niagara College Craft Beverage Center and be to part of an event that brings together local businesses, tourism, and the craft beverage industry.”

With more than 20 food and beverage vendors, the event will feature live music, outdoor games, and fall-themed activities, promising a welcoming autumn experience for residents and visitors alike. NC Craft will also join the lineup as a vendor, serving up food and beverages.

Beyond the festivities, the event presents an opportunity to showcase NC Craft’s beverage portfolio, build community connections and showcase NC’s deep roots in Niagara’s beverage and hospitality sectors.

“Our hope is that Cheers Niagara will become an annual celebration that connects local producers, supports small businesses and encourages residents and visitors alike to discover more of what our region has to offer,” said Dow.
