BPSN released a Sept. 15 Niagara College sports report, including highlights from the Knights women’s and men’s soccer teams.
Top highlights include:
- Knights soccer players Tessa Vahrmeyer and Matthew Wnukowski were named NC’s female and male athletes of the week following strong performances in the season openers.
- The Knights women’s soccer team opened its season with a 2-2 draw against Conestoga, with Vahrmeyer recording a goal and an assist.
- The Knights men’s soccer team also earned a draw against Conestoga, finishing 0-0 after outshooting the Condors 17-2.
