Niagara College is uncorking another harvest season bringing craftsmanship and college spirit to Canada’s premier wine celebration.
From exclusive festival pairings on campus to downtown parade day, here is how the college community can experience this year’s grape and wine festivities.
Discovery Pass: What NC is pouring
NC Craft at the Teaching Winery – the first and only commercial teaching winery in Canada – is once again a featured stop on the festival’s official Discovery Pass program.
“NC Craft is excited to once again participate in the Grape and Wine Discovery Pass and welcome guests to the Craft Beverage Centre during one of the most exciting times of year in Niagara,” said Amanda Baldinelli, Hospitality and Events Manager, NCLEC. “We look forward to sharing the beauty and energy of harvest season while showcasing the exceptional craft beverages produced right here in Niagara.”
The festival’s Discovery Pass program will run September 11-13, 18-20, and 25-27 (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Discovery Pass holders can visit the NC Craft beverage Centre for a harvest inspired culinary pairing including NC Dean’s List Gamay Noir paired with Winemakers Harvest Muffaletta in an outdoor campus patio experience.

Grape and Wine Grande Parade
Don’t miss the Grape and Wine Festival Grande Parade will roll through downtown St. Catharines rain or shine on Saturday, September 26 starting at 11 a.m. – and NC will be a part of the excitement. Cheer on the NC community at one of the region’s biggest harvest traditions.
This year marks the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Niagara Grape and Wine Festival, September 11 to 27. Attendees will also spot NC on official tasting glasses distributed throughout the festival events at Montebello Park.
