An article in the three Niagara dailies (Niagara Falls Review, St. Catharines Standard and Welland Tribune) featured Special Olympics athlete Maria Emery who is a new student in NC’s CICE program.
Emery recently competed at the Special Olympics Canada Summer Games in Medicine Hat, Alberta, winning six medals – four gold and two bronze – in rhythmic gymnastics.
