Greenhouse Technician alumnus Chris Wood (Class of 2011), head grower at Proplant Propagation Services, was named Greenhouse Canada‘s 2026 Grower of the Year. In a profile by the publication, Wood reflected on his career journey from welding to greenhouse management, highlighting his commitment to innovation, mentorship and continuous improvement. He also credited Niagara College with helping launch his career in the horticulture industry.
