Poured Canada magazine spotlights education innovation in wine, beer and spirits across the country in its Winter 2026 print edition, featuring NC’s leadership in in the space.

The feature showcases programming within NC’s School of Wine, Beer & Spirit, as well as its state-of-the-art facilities, including the Teaching Brewery, Winery and Distillery, and the College’s 40-acre on-campus vineyard.

The front page of the feature includes a quote from Craig Youdale, Dean of Culinary, Tourism and Beverage Studies, highlighting the College’s experiential approach to learning: “When I say hands-on, it’s the real deal. We’re even showing people how to drive a tractor.”

Later in the feature, another one of Youdale’s quotes is highlighted, emphasizing the impact of NC graduates across the province: “If you think of the top wineries in the province…like Stratus Vineyards, Tawse Winery, Inniskillin, these are all run by graduates of ours.”
