The three Niagara dailies (Niagara Falls Review, St. Catharines Standard and Welland Tribune) reported on upcoming local Coldest Night of the Year walks scheduled for Feb. 28, highlighting the event taking place at Niagara College’s Welland Campus.
Coldest Night of the Year is a national fundraising walk held in communities across Canada in support of local charities. Since 2011, the initiative has raised millions to support programs serving individuals experiencing homelessness, poverty and food insecurity.
