On Wednesday, November 5, Niagara College will welcome grade nine students to experience a day of learning, exploration, and fun in the workplace.
Please note that the format for ‘Take Our Kids to Word Day’ has changed, as is reflected on the Registration Form.
Employees: Please register your grade nine student by Tuesday, October 28.
New format
Planned activities for the day will take place at the Welland Campus only from 8:30 and 10 a.m. Grade nine students will then spend the remainder of the day with their NC Sponsors. For employees in Niagara-on-the-Lake, students do not have to attend the activities in Welland and can opt to spend the full day with their NC Sponsor (pending supervisor approval).
The morning program in Welland will include a presentation with information about the College and health and safety expectations for the day.
Please note that campus tours and area demonstrations will no longer be offered, but students are welcome to take part in Fall Open House on Saturday, November 8.
