“It’s been a really, really good experience,” Mackenzie said. “It’s exactly what I expected it to be, in terms of there’s a lot to learn. It gives me the same feeling of nerves and jitters and that competitive excitement before games, maybe even more. It’s been a good start to my coaching career.”
