The three Niagara dailies (Niagara Falls Review, St. Catharines Standard, Welland Tribune) released an article addressing the skilled trades industry workforce shortage.
The article includes a comment from Darrell Clarke, NC’s Associate Dean in the School of Trades, who highlighted that, in addition to retirees, training institutions reduced their capacity during the pandemic and are still catching up. It also features a photo of high school students checking out an NC construction trades booth during the second annual Trades and Tech Fest at E.L. Crossley.
