InNiagara shared an article announcing the Canadian government’s plan to invest $6.5 million in three projects aimed at supporting southern Ontario’s manufacturing sector. The article highlights that $4 million of this investment will be allocated to the Southern Ontario Network for Advanced Manufacturing Innovation (SONAMI), a Niagara College-led network comprising 11 post-secondary institutions.
President Sean Kennedy is quoted in the article: “On behalf of Niagara College, we’re grateful to FedDev Ontario for their continued investment in SONAMI. We are proud to have become a key resource for advanced manufacturing applied research in southern Ontario.”
