Giant FM and Country 89 announced that Niagara College and Heidehof have been honoured with a provincial industry award for an intergenerational project called “A Senior’s Freshman Year: The Intergenerational College Experience,” which involved 29 first-year Recreation Therapy students and 10 seniors living at the St. Catharines-based seniors care community.
