Giant FM announced that NC’s Sustainability office and students are hosting by Bioblitz, a free and family-friendly event on Saturday April 13 at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The announcement highlights that the annual Bioblitz aims to identify and document bugs, birds and amphibians, mammals and plants across the campus grounds, and that volunteers will unite with the shared objective of cataloguing as many species as possible, establishing a baseline for biodiversity monitoring by researchers and the local community.
