There’s still time to register for NC’s International Women’s Day living library event, happening on Tuesday, March 5 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

Hosted by the Libraries and Learning Commons and the Human Resources department, and moderated by NC’s Samah Sabra, Director, EDI and Accessibility, HR, the event celebrates the 2024 theme for International Women’s Day, “Inspire Inclusion.”

The panel event will feature Jennifer Dockstader (Executive Director, Fort Erie Native Friendship Centre), Zakia Hamdani (Equity Consultant, District School Board of Niagara), and Cassandra Ogunniyi (Manager, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Indigenous Relations in the Growth, Strategy, and Economic Development Department at Niagara Region), who, through their work, inspire inclusion in their organizations and within their communities.

Employees and students are invited to register for this hybrid event. Participants can join online via Zoom (link will be shared through registration) or may attend in-person at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake in Room N018. Seating in Room N018 is first come first served. Alumni and community members are also invited to register to join the event via Zoom.
