Niagara College will be closed on April 3 for the Good Friday holiday with limited access to campus facilities. Below is a list of operating hours for our services and enterprises during the Good Friday holiday and Easter weekend.
Wine Visitor + Education Centre: The Wine Visitor + Education Centre will remain open with regular hours of operation: Friday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Teaching Greenhouse: The Teaching Greenhouse will be closed on Good Friday and will remain open with regular hours of operation on Saturday, April 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Monday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Academic Advising & Career Services: Academic Advising & Career Services at both campuses will be closed on Good Friday.
Ancillary Services: Ancillary Services (Food Services & Ricoh Print services) on both campuses will be closed on Good Friday.
Athletics & Recreation: Fitness Centres and gymnasiums on both campuses will be closed on Friday, April 3 – Sunday, April 5 and will re-open with regular hours on Monday, April 6.
Bookstores: The Welland Campus bookstore will be closed on Good Friday.
Campus Safety & Parking Services: The Welland Campus and Daniel J. Patterson Campus exterior doors will be locked on Friday April 3 and will reopen on Saturday, April 4 at 6 a.m. Should you require access to either campus, you must contact Security 905-735-2211 ext.6999 or email [email protected]. Access to either facility will be at the discretion of Security, or as previously approved/communicated.
Community Employment Services (43 Church St. in St. Catharines): Community Employment Services (CES) will be closed on Good Friday.
Enrolment Services: On-campus and virtual Enrolment Services will be closed on Good Friday.
Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services: Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services (HWAS) will be closed on Good Friday.
Good2Talk
Good2Talk is a free, province-wide service for students in college/university and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It provides professional counselling, mental health information and connections to local resources. COAST Niagara / Mental Health and Addiction Help Line
COAST provides services to people in the Niagara Region who are in crisis and have a mental health concern. Ongoing telephone support and/or referral to appropriate follow-up services may be recommended to prevent further crisis. Indigenous Education: Indigenous Education Centres on both campuses will be closed on Good Friday.
International Centres: International Centres on both campuses will be closed on Good Friday. International Students experiencing distress can access regular after-hours resources here: www.niagaracollege.ca/hwas/resources/crisis/
ncLibraries and Learning Commons: In-person and virtual services, including student support, Test Centre, academic drop-ins, and peer tutoring services will be closed on Good Friday.
Niagara College Student Administrative Council (NCSAC) offices and Student Centres: NCSAC offices and virtual chat services will be closed on Good Friday. Campus Cafes, The Core (Welland Campus) and The Armoury (Daniel J. Patterson Campus), and The Shack (Welland Campus) and Undergrounds (Daniel J. Patterson Campus) will also be closed.
Student Services: The Student Rights & Responsibilities Office will be closed on Good Friday.
Teaching Salon: The Teaching Salon and the Pavilion will be closed on Good Friday.
Teaching Spa: The Teaching Spa will be closed on Good Friday.
