Message from the Vice President, Academic and Vice President, Students:
February 2 marks the launch of the fifth annual Ontario College Student Experience Survey (OCSES) at Niagara College and across Ontario’s public college system.
The province-wide survey will be open from February 2 to February 22, 2026, and is coordinated locally by Niagara College’s Planning and Institutional Research (PaIR) department in collaboration with the Ontario College Application Service (OCAS).
Students who have completed at least one term of their current program will receive an email invitation with a personalized survey link.
OCSES measures key aspects of the student experience, including teaching and learning quality, program-related knowledge and skills, work-integrated learning, and student services and resources. It is important to note that this survey is not an evaluation of a specific course, subject, or instructor.
As you know, student feedback plays an essential role in helping Niagara College maintain strong academic quality and responsive student services. OCSES results support program review, service planning, and continuous improvement, and also contribute to system-wide benchmarking across Ontario colleges. Many program and service enhancements at Niagara College have been informed, in part, by this feedback.
We would like to thank faculty and staff for their continued support in encouraging student participation and for helping students understand the purpose and value of the survey. Your engagement helps ensure that students’ perspectives are heard and reflected in college decision-making.
The results of the 2026 OCSES will be released in Spring 2026. If you have any questions about the survey, please contact [email protected].
Thank you for your continued support of this important quality improvement initiative.
Fay & Chris
