The three Niagara dailies (Niagara Falls Review, St. Catharines Standard and Welland Tribune) released a feature on NC’s Spring Open House that took place at both campuses on March 29.

The feature highlights that during the one-day event, prospective students had an opportunity to meet with faculty and students representing about 130 diploma, certificate and bachelor’s degree program areas. Prospective students were able to see the classrooms and the labs, listen to professors discuss the course work and examine the equipment they will be working on.

NC’s Senior Director of Marketing & Student Recruitment, Dorita Pentesco, was quoted throughout the article, emphasizing the value of experiencing campus life in person.

“It gives [students] an opportunity to really experience what life is all about at Niagara College,” she said. “You need to come on campus. You need to see what it is all about and reflect ‘Could I picture myself here? What can Niagara College offer me?”
