A message from John Levay, CIO, Information Technology Services:

Several changes to the reporting structure within Information Technology Services (ITS) will be implemented on November 8, following John Hilbing’s departure from his role as Director, Client Support Services.

Our guiding principle for these changes was to have the least impact on our services to the College community as well as ITS staff members, and to consolidate similar services as much as possible.

Audiovisual and physical security moves to Infrastructure and Network Services

All IT infrastructure components of facilities plan/design/build/projects will now be consolidated under Infrastructure and Network Services for efficiencies, led by Director, Kathie Briggs.

This includes audiovisual and physical security, such as security cameras and door access to support the College’s physical security infrastructure (including blue phones, panic buttons, and more). Please note that this change does not involve data or cyber security.

Client Support Services

The rest of Client Support Services will now fall under the Project Portfolio Office led by Director Claire Rosati, thereby expanding her scope. Aleasha Sawyer will continue to be Manager, Client Support Services and will also expand her responsibilities to manage projects related to desktops, classrooms and computer labs.

The Client Support Services area will continue to exist and any service or project requests are expected to be initiated with a ticket or call to the ITS Service Desk and the proper area will be assigned. Users should notice no change in process.

If you encounter an issue with any of these changes, please contact me, an ITS Director, or the ITS Service Desk. We are always here to serve the College’s technology needs.

Thank you for your cooperation during this time.
