Niagara College’s (NC) new credit transfer agreement with the University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) will create new pathways that give NC students the opportunity to further their academic and career goals.

On September 19, a Program Pathways Transfer Credit Articulation Agreement was officially signed by Fiona Allan, NC’s Vice President, Academic and David Gray, Provost & Vice-President, Academic with UNF during a ceremony at UNF’s downtown Niagara Falls campus.

The agreement allows students from NC to easily transfer applicable credits into all five of UNF’s programs, which include an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration, Honours Bachelor of Science – Biomedical Sciences, Master of Arts in Digital Media and Global Communications, Master of Data Analytics, and Master of Management.

NC students from a wide variety of programs will have the opportunity to explore further education at UNF through this pathway. For UNF master’s degrees, credits from a qualifying NC post-graduate certificate will be accepted.

“Articulation agreements create important learning pathways for our students and reflect the value of a Niagara College credential,” said Allan. “We’re pleased to offer a new agreement with the University of Niagara Falls Canada, and to build on the more than 300 articulation pathways we offer with colleges and universities around the world.”

“Partnering with Niagara College honours their presence in our region and further demonstrates UNF’s commitment to student success,” said Gray. “We’re excited to have taken this important step.”
