On March 31, TVO released a segment profiling NC’s Beekeeping Program.
The segment calls NC students the next generation of beekeepers in Ontario, as they are the first to go through NC’s commercial beekeeping program – the only one of its kind in Eastern Canada. The segment notes that the program was created to meet the growing demand of beekeepers in the country.
The segment interviews Professor Mylee Nordin who discusses the breakdown of semesters and areas of study within the program. The segment also includes an interview with student Marion St. Gelais-Marko.
