On January 4, InNiagara and Nation Talk released an article highlighting NC’s involvement in a new pilot program to help train Indigenous early childhood educators for First Nations communities in Niagara Region. The Indigenous-led Early Childhood Education (ECE) Pilot Program was created by Niagara College, the Fort Erie Native Friendship Centre, Six Nations Polytechnic and the Region of Niagara Children’s Services Division, with classes running at Niagara College from January 9 2023 and run until April 2024.
