Message from Brian Hughes, Interim Senior Director, Facilities Management Services:
I am pleased to introduce a new member of the FMS team. On September 19, Jeff Collee joined us in the role of Associate Director, Facilities Management Services, Welland Campus. Jeff is taking on a leadership role in the maintenance and operations of our Welland Campus, working closely with a team of seasoned maintenance professionals.
Jeff is a Facilities Management Professional (FMP) and also holds a Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP) designation through IFMA. He is a graduate of the University of Guelph with an Associate Diploma in Horticulture, and of Mohawk College’s General Carpenter program. He was previously employed at the District School Board of Niagara, the Niagara Catholic District School Board and Ridley College, taking on progressively more senior roles in grounds and facility management. As well, Jeff has 19 years of experience as volunteer fire suppression captain with the Niagara Falls Fire Department.
The varied skills and knowledge gained from his work in other educational settings and through his volunteer service, make Jeff a natural fit in FMS and at Niagara College.
In his first month, Jeff will be reaching out to various stakeholders on campus to introduce himself and become familiar with the diverse needs of the Welland Campus facilities.
