Students will soon have the opportunity to shine the spotlight on their favourite NC instructor through the NCSAC Educator of the Year Awards.

The EOTY Awards, which have been handed out since 2003, are presented annually to one full-time and one part-time faculty member after students nominate an instructor they feel has gone above and beyond or has made a significant contribution to their education.

The nomination period runs February 17 to March 21, at which time students can go to yourncsac.ca/eoty to complete the online nomination form. The form includes a ‘brag about them’ section where students can articulate how their instructor has made a difference to them.

Students are welcome to nominate as many instructors as they would like. After the nomination period closes, submissions are evaluated and voted on by the NCSAC Board.

Winners will be announced this spring through NCSAC’s end of the year wrap up video and will receive a commemorative award.
