Niagara College is dedicated to providing a safe campus learning and work experience for all staff and students and regularly updates measures to limit the spread of COVID-19 and comply with public health directives.

This is an important reminder that common-areas including the cafeterias at both the Welland Campus and the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake remain closed until further notice.

Under current Public health restrictions indoor dining is not permitted, as it remains a high risk of virus transmission due to the lack of masking and physical distancing. It is also important to note that lunch rooms and break rooms have often been cited as sources of workplace COVID transmission.

Campus access is currently limited to students with scheduled classes or labs, and employees and contractors with approved on-campus work. Students attending campus should not gather on campus and are required to leave Niagara College when labs and classes are complete.
