Message from Michael Wales, Manager, Corporate Communications:

I am very pleased to announce that Courtney DeCaire will join the Corporate Communications team as a communications consultant on Monday, January 4, 2021.

Courtney joins us from Enterprise Canada, a national strategic communications firm, where she has served as public relations project manager since 2017. Courtney also worked as a consultant at Enterprise Canada from 2014 – 2016, and from 2016-2017 Courtney was the communications, marketing and recruitment coordinator at Brock University.

A graduate of the University of Guelph (English) and Niagara College (Public Relations), Courtney was named to PR in Canada’s Top 30 under 30 list in 2015 and 2016, and Top 40 under 40 list in 2017. She currently serves as vice president on the University of Guelph Alumni Association board of directors.

Courtney brings a broad experience with clients from the public and private sectors, gained in an agency setting, to our college and our department, along with a professional attitude and engaging personality that will make her a great fit within our department and our college.
