Don’t miss the NC Teaching Winery at Canada’s coolest wine festival: the Niagara Icewine Festival.
The festival began with Winter Winefest in Jordan Village on January 10-11 and will continue in Niagara-on-the-Lake January 18-19, and 25-26. The festival transforms the town into a winter wonderland with live entertainment, culinary creations, music, shopping, sparkling ice sculptures and. of course, Icewine tastings.
The Teaching Winery is among 36 wineries to participate in the 25th annual event. At NOTL’s Icewine Village on January 18-19, and 25-26, the Teaching Winery will feature its fresh, crisp and fruity 2018 Dean’s List Prodigy Icewine.

2018 Dean’s List Prodigy Icewine and Salted Caramel Shortbread bites with Dark Chocolate Drizzle
The NC Teaching Winery is also a part of the festival’s Discovery Pass, which includes eight wine and food pairings at participating wineries with each ticket. The Teaching Winery will showcase its 2018 Dean’s List Prodigy Icewine, paired with a rich, creamy and crunchy Salted Caramel Shortbread Bar with Dark Chocolate Drizzle (vegetarian) from Benchmark Restaurant. The 2014 Balance Blanc de Blanc Brut is available for tasting.
