Niagara Health Foundation: Rider Spotlight – NC’s Big Move Cancer Ride team

The Niagara Health Foundation featured Niagara College in their newsletter. Organizers of the NC team for the Big Move Cancer Ride on September 8.

In the article, team organizer and manager, Student Financials, Janet Pizzati describes NC’s involvement and motivations for supporting the cause, including fundraising tips. Pizzati says:

“Niagara College is a strong supporter of local organizations in Niagara that are making people’s lives better. Members of the Niagara College senior leadership team have signed up and there are more than 30 riders who will be riding as part of the first-ever Niagara College team. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible to help support the Walker Family Cancer Centre – we’re motivated because we know the funds stay in our local community to help the people of Niagara.”
