College flags have been lowered in memory of Emily Hind, a student who passed away earlier this week.

Emily, 24, was a resident of the Niagara region who was in her first year of studies in the General Arts and Science program.

Niagara College extends its deepest condolences to Emily’s family, friends, classmates and faculty.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, November 11 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Grantham Lions Club (732 Niagara St., St. Catharines).

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
