Faculty and staff are invited to attend a workshop hosted by Health Wellness and Accessibility Services: Retroactive Accommodation: Let’s Explore to Understand.
The workshop will take place on Friday, March 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the NOTL Campus (room W112).
This highly regarded workshop, facilitated by Dr. Barbra Roberts, will include a discussion of principles, tools and strategies as well as an application of scenarios, sharing and debrief. During the afternoon portion of the workshop, participants will be invited to assist in the development of a tool to create Niagara College’s framework around how to meaningfully consider Retroactive Accommodation.
Niagara College counsellors and nurses will be in attendance, and Health Wellness and Accessibility Services will welcome faculty and staff input to the framework.
Spaces are limited; those interested are asked to register for the session by Tuesday, February 27 at 4 p.m.
Staff members may choose to participate for the full day or for half of the day.
Lunch will be provided for all who attend.
