Niagara College research division gets $7.3M boost


An article posted by the Welland Tribune on December 19 features the announcement that Niagara College is receiving $7.3 million from the federal government for a collaborative project with three other post-secondary institutions to support the manufacturing sector in the Golden Horseshoe. The project, called the Southern Ontario Network for Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation (SONAMI), involves Niagara College’s Walker Advanced Manufacturing and Innovation Centre as well as the manufacturing centres of Mohawk and Sheridan colleges and McMaster University.
