Dianne Craig, the president and CEO of Ford Canada, visited the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus October 24 to learn about industry-focused education, and to talk business and leadership with a group of student leaders.

Craig, who was participating in the Ontario Economic Summit being held in Niagara-on-the-Lake, toured the Wine Visitor + Education Centre before sitting down with seven female students from different programs areas at the college. All of the students were affiliated with Niagara College’s Leadership Exploration and Development (LEAD) program, through the Centre for Student Engagement and Leadership.

Craig recounted her experiences at Ford — where she has spent her entire career, working from a program manager to her current role. She encouraged the students to distinguish themselves by creating a positive reputation.

“We all have our own brands,” she said, “build your own brand.”
