Centre for Academic Excellence welcomes new Academic Program Development Coordinator

Mangala SinghI am pleased to announce that Mangala Singh will be joining the Staff in the Academic Quality Unit of the Centre for Academic Excellence as the Academic Program Development Coordinator.  Mangala replaces Eileen Akershoek who has moved to the Enrolment Services as a Business Analyst.

Mangala brings much experience to the role, most recently serving as a Business Consultant within the Goodman School of Business at Brock University. In addition to this experience Managala has also taught courses in NC’s highly regarded-Photonics programs. He is also actively engaged in the Niagara region, having volunteered on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara for the past year.

Mangala will help to facilitate the process of Program Development at Niagara, as well as all major and minor changes to existing programs. His vast experience in developing consistent processes and business plans will be helpful in his new role, as will his enthusiasm for postsecondary education.

Mangala holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics, a Master’s of Science in Physics, and most recently earned his Masters of Business Administration from the Goodman School of Business at Brock University.
