I would like to thank everyone who participated in our recent Employee Climate Survey.
We achieved a very solid participation rate of 72 percent, which exceeds the average rate for similar institutions. By having so many of you take the time to complete the survey, we’re assured of meaningful results that will provide an accurate reading of the “temperature” of the work environment at Niagara College. These results are important – they will allow us to measure the progress we’ve made over the course of three previous surveys, and identify areas where we are doing well and areas that may need attention.
The survey administrator, Metrics@Work, will compile the results, which will be the basis for our discussion at this year’s Day of Reflection, on April 24. From that point, we will begin to build on the results, all with a view towards making Niagara College an even better place to learn and to work.
